SOI Weekly Team Update
WEEKLY TEAM UPDATE

FINISH STRONG

Two weeks left. Consistency in routine and presence with the children is everything right now.

Team Reflection

As we head into our final two weeks of the school year, I want to name something specific: your consistency. Keeping routines steady when everyone can feel the calendar closing in is not easy, and it's exactly what the children need right now. Thank you for holding that line. Transitions are big for little ones. They're leaving a classroom, a teacher, a rhythm they've built trust in all year. Our job these last two weeks is to help them close this chapter well so they can walk into the next one with confidence, not just get through it.
How do I prepare myself? Transition is felt by adults too. Notice your own bandwidth. Give yourself grace if goodbyes feel heavier than expected, and lean on your team when you need a breather. How do I prepare the children? Talk about what's coming, in language they can hold onto. Revisit favorite routines and rituals so the ending feels celebrated, not just concluded. Give them chances to say goodbye on their own terms. How do I prepare the parents? Parents take their cues from us. A short, warm note about what to expect these final weeks, and what their child's next step looks like, goes a long way in easing their own transition anxiety. How do I use my team? None of this is a solo job. Talk to your co-teachers about how you're each closing out the year. Ask your team lead what's worked in past transitions. Lean on each other for coverage so everyone gets a moment to actually be present with the kids during these final days.

Park Days Reminder

As we wrap up the preschool year, fun activities like trips to the park will likely be more frequent. Please be mindful of any students who have therapy sessions, regular or make-up, or specific ABA start and end times. If you need clarification on scheduling, please check in with Family Services.

Benefits Transition — Open Enrollment

Medical, Dental, and Vision open enrollment is happening now through Friday, July 17th. You should have received an email to register with Employee Navigator. Even if you plan to not partake in some or all available benefits, please go through and select "do not elect." This ensures no follow-up is needed.

If you'd like to meet with Kelly to discuss options based on your needs, email her directly at kjonas@foundationrp.com.

Important dates: Any selected plans go into effect 8/1/2026. Once open enrollment closes, changes cannot be made until next year unless a qualifying life event occurs. If you're enrolled in FSA, complete all medically verifiable purchases by 7/31/2026.

Champ Plan open enrollment is July 20-24. Optional employee education meetings will be held Tuesday and Wednesday. More details coming.

Transition note: As we move from Insperity to ADP, all approved planned time off, PTO, and sick time balances will transfer. 401K plans will transition, with setup opportunities in September with the new carrier.

All available plan information is on the Team Dashboard.

Gloves — New Supply Source for All Teams

Starting in the new school year, buckets of 500 gloves will be ordered for preschool classrooms, clinical therapy teams, and ABA services. ABA will keep their supply in their designated classroom, clinical teams in the therapy closet. Refills are available on request with overnight shipping at no cost. We've found a more cost-effective and reliable source. Thank you for your patience as we transition.
