Shannon Rowan, M.S. CCC-SLP

BS, California State University of the East Bay
MS, Pacific University (Oregon)

Shannon’s clinical fellowship and externship opportunities have allowed her to provide treatment across the lifespan, with clients ranging from 18 months to 105 years old. Prior to graduate school, Shannon worked as a Rehab Aide at a skilled nursing facility supporting Occupational and Physical therapists in treatment. During her Clinical Fellowship Year, she was able to work as an Early Intervention specialist. She had the opportunity to provide family coaching and direct support to children in the Portland, Oregon community. This position allowed her to grow her clinical knowledge as well as learn how to best support families and caregivers of the children she serves.

Shannon is thrilled to be part of the interdisciplinary collaboration at the School of Imagination and prioritizes using neurodiversity-affirming therapy approaches.

In her free time, Shannon likes to spend time exploring the outdoors, reading, playing board games, and spending time with her family.
