A Night of Generosity: The Benefit Gala for the School of Imagination
The School of Imagination's Benefit Gala, held on Saturday, May 11th, was an extraordinary event filled with generosity, community spirit, and a shared vision for our children's future. This elegant evening raised funds for Stephen Vogt’s Family Fund, and a much-needed playground revamp project.
The gala took place in the ballroom of the Dublin Ranch Golf Course. Guests arrived in cocktail attire, ready to enjoy a night of dining, entertainment, and silent and live auction opportunities.
A Community United
From the moment the doors opened, it was clear that this was not just a fundraising event but a community gathering united by a common goal. Parents, supporters, local business owners, and community leaders mingled and enjoyed the night together to fulfill the next step in SOI’s project list.
Live Auction and Silent Auction
The auctions were a major highlight of the evening. Guests eagerly bid on a variety of items. The friendly competition added an exciting buzz to the night, and the results were phenomenal. The silent auction, filled with art pieces, gift baskets, and services from local businesses, also saw enthusiastic participation. The generosity of the attendees was overwhelming, and the funds raised exceeded all expectations.
The entertainment for the night was a perfect blend of talent and charm. The charismatic emcee was former KTVU Fox Sports broadcaster Mark Ibanez. Mark is a long-time supporter of the School of Imagination, and we were excited to invite him to help us host our successful night.
During cocktail hour, our guests were wowed by local Master Magician Dan Chan, who interacted with guests one-on-one, displaying his amazing magic tricks and mind-blowing mentalist mind-reading.
Throughout the night, Amos Productions DJ’ed music with nostalgia and today’s hits and facilitated their fun photo booth experience.
The Impact
By the night's end, the gala had raised an impressive amount, well on its way to funding the new playground. We’re proud that we raised just over $40,000 towards our goal!
The funds raised will go directly towards creating a safe, engaging, and innovative play space that will serve the School of Imagination's preschoolers for years to come.
