Hon. Stephen M. Pulido (Ret.)

We are honored to welcome the Honorable Judge Stephen M. Pulido (Ret.) as a member of the School of Imagination’s Board of Directors! Judge Pulido has been connected to SOI for nearly two decades, championing our mission to create opportunities for all children. Now, as an official Board Member, he brings distinguished leadership in law, education, and community service to help strengthen SOI’s reach and impact.

A Leader in Law & Education

Judge Pulido dedicated 46 years to the legal profession, including 28 years as an attorney and 18 years as a Superior Court Judge in Alameda County. During his judicial career, he served as Supervising and Presiding Judge and chaired numerous committees, including Family Law, Civil, Jury, Outreach, Personnel, and Security.

Beyond the courtroom, Judge Pulido has shown equal dedication to education. He served on the Pleasanton Unified School District Board of Trustees (2003–2007), including a term as Board President, where he championed student success and community engagement. His career reflects a steadfast belief in fairness, mentorship, and service to children and families.
