Steve is proud to be serving on the board of directors for School of Imagination. He has always been impressed by the organization’s tenacious pursuit to be a force for good in the community. Watching children enter the program developmentally delayed, sometimes even unable to speak, and seeing them progress, grow, thrive and shine as a result of their time at the school is by far the most rewarding aspect of being a part of this team.

Steve brings a wealth of leadership and directorial experience to our team, having served on boards for numerous local government and non-profit organizations, including: Dublin Sister City Association, California Auto Body Association, City of Dublin Planning Commission, City of Dublin Parks and Community Services Commission, City of Dublin Commercial Development Task Force, The Dublin Historical Preservation Association, Dublin Lions Club, Lions Foundation, and the Valley Children’s Museum.

Steve has worked with the board and volunteers to develop and execute fundraising programs that ensure that no child is ever turned away from the services they so desperately need due to financial reasons. He is honored to be working with such a dynamic and qualified team of professionals.

Being retired, Steve is happy to use his time working with the School of Imagination and other local non-profit organizations in the community. In his spare time, Steve loves to play golf and travel about the country and around the world with his beloved wife, Janet. Steve and Janet are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in January 2015.
