Rhiannon Bores
Currently 12 ECE units and a 4.0 GPA, degree to be completed in 2022
Rhiannon has worked with children since she began babysitting at the age of 12. She has also worked with children in church daycare, as a personal nanny, and as a mother to her own children. Recently, she served as a preschool aide with the City of Dublin where she developed their Mini-Preschool program called “Little Lovies” (aged 18 months – 3 years). Following her role at the City of Dublin, she became a toddler teacher at Genius Kids and was working with children from infants to 1st grade.
“What I love most about working with children is just getting to be a part of their discovery and growth. My goal is to be a source of love and warmth while guiding them towards their own personal development. I also enjoy being able to speak with families and give them feedback on how wonderful their child is doing when they are not around. As a parent, I know how scary it can be to not always be by your child’s side. I want to be a person they trust their child with and also be a sounding board and support system for them.”
Rhiannon’s first love is music, and she especially loves listening to music on a road trip. She also loves to read and spend time outdoors. She cheers on the Oakland sports teams, the Warriors and A’s.
