Evelyn Gomez, M.S., CCC-SLP
Evelyn holds a B.A. in Communicative Disorders & Minor in Special Education from San Francisco State University as well as a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Nevada, Reno. Prior to getting her Masters, Evelyn has previously worked as a Behavioral Therapist providing one on one in-home therapy sessions for children on the Autism spectrum. During this time she also worked as a classroom assistant for school-age students at Spectrum Center Schools and at working at the George Miller Center Early Intervention Program as an Early Intervention Teacher.
In graduate school, Evelyn was a member of the University Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment (UCAN) assessment team to provide diagnostic evaluation for children in need. She accumulated clinical hours by providing direct therapy to children and adults on and off-campus and at an elementary school in Concord, California. In addition, Evelyn is bilingual in Spanish.
Evelyn has a passion for engaging with children and their families.
