Prior to graduate school, Shika worked as a substitute paraeducator supporting students in RSP and SDC programs. As part of graduate school, Shika led tele-practice social groups for AAC users of all ages. She also has co-led social groups. She completed her internship at a private practice, working with early intervention and school-aged children. Shika is fluent in conversation Fiji-Hindi and understands all dialects of Hindi.

Shika is excited to work with the School of Imagination and expand her clinical skills while supporting children and their families as they find their voice in a child-first environment!

Shika enjoys reading, writing, baking, and spending time with loved ones in her spare time. She loves to try out new experiments in the kitchen as well!
