M.S. in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences, San Francisco State Univeristy
Alina’s internships and career experience has provided her with opportunities where she has worked with individuals who have complex communication needs between the ages of 3-30. She specializes in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and has a Bilingual Certification. Previously Alina has worked at an elementary school in Los Angeles where she served children and families of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
She is very excited to connect with children in order to create individualized therapy as well as build rapport with families to help educate and support the process of overall communication abilities in a variety of contexts.
Alina is a tree hugger and enjoys hiking different trails throughout the Bay Area and being surrounded by nature. Alina loves to check out new restaurants and vintage stores in the area. She enjoys having creative outlets and a goal of a hers is to start taking ceramics classes.
